The Alma-Tadema And The Painters Of 19th Century England. Perez Simon Collection is being shown at the Chiostro del Bramante in Rome until June 2014. There are fifty magnificent works from the Pérez Simòn collection on show that have been inspired by the world of myths and legends, the Middle Ages and Shakespeare's plays, as well as day-to-day life scenes that are represented in paintings of enigmatic beauty. The main focus of the paintings is women; muses, models, heroines, femmes fatales, witches, enchantresses and princesses. The collection was a huge success in Paris, France and after remaining in Rome for more than three months it will head to the Spanish capital of Madrid (Thyssen-Bornemisza).
